Pet owners, don’t worry. Although PM Lee announced on April 3 2020, 4pm that Singapore will take decisive steps towards preventing further infection by closing malls and schools, essential services like pet shops will continue to operate. Given that physical storefronts of pet shops have to be closed after the latest address on April 21, 2020, buying online is the best way to get your pet supplies.
Plus, Singaporeans are advised to go out only when absolutely necessary, such as to buy food or groceries. But where should you order pet supplies from?

Kohepets is one of the more popular online pet shops in Singapore, they offer pet supplies and pet food online delivery.
When you purchase stuff on Kohepets, you get Kohepoints, which can then be accumulated to exchange for vouchers to be used at the shop.

They have attractive bundle offers, so if your pet has a favourite food that you always re-order, you can just buy more and save money.
One downside of the website is that the pictures are a little small.
Due to the Covid-19 situation, the shop is experiencing high traffic and the minimum delivery lead time is 2 weeks from date of order placed. They also have a physical shop at Sunset Way, which will remain open.
There’s also a rewards system where you can accumulate P$.

If you subscribe to their newsletter, you get $5 off your first order. They also allow you to earn Pawperks with every purchase. You may select free samples on all orders above $59.
The range on offer is quite varied, carrying brands such as unicharm, Stella & Chewy’s, Ciao cat treats, Aixia, Raw Instinct and Primal Pet Foods, which is great, though we have one small thing to note about its navigation.
When you click on “cat food”, you will come to a page where you have to click a category, then further specify the type. We think this could be overwhelming for first time pet owners or people who are window shopping.
It’s a small issue though, and there’s a workaround. If you want to see their whole selection, you may key in “cat food” or “dog food” in the search bar rather than clicking through the layered navigation. If you already know what you want to buy, you can search for the brand right away.

The shop also offers sale of purebred kittens anywhere from British Shorthair, Munchkin to Scottish Fold, however we encourage you to check out adoption boards like Cat Welfare Society and consider giving one of the rescue kitties a home!
